Kathleen B. Hudson emphasizes dynamic light and atmospherics in her landscape paintings. After a childhood spent travelling and exploring art museums, she moved to Boston to pursue a degree at Harvard University, where she painted, studied mountain travel narratives, and led backpacking trips. Now based in Lexington, Kentucky, Hudson takes part in national festivals and teaches workshops around the country. In teaching, she helpds students gain skills for critiquing their own work so they can continue to sharpen their vision long after a workshop is over.
Hudson’s work has been featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine; her awards include Grand Prize in the PleinAir Salon, Grand Prize at Plein Air Texas, and Artists’ Choice at Forgotten Coast en Plein Air. Hudson’s award-winning work is seen in museum and private collections in North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. firstname.lastname@example.org
