Class Description:

This very popular class has been added because Bryan’s July 17-21, 2017 workshop is now sold out and on waitlist only status.

Please note: this class runs Tuesday, June 13th - Friday, June 16th. Monday, June 12th is an independent day to scout and enjoy the Island prior to the workshop.

Based in part on Bryan’s bestselling books, Understanding Exposure and Learning To See Creatively, this workshop will surely boost your level of expertise.

Your camera bag is a virtual gold mine of compelling compositions. Any subject can be turned into a compelling shot, no matter how mundane, IF you apply the vast and creative principles that are offered in this workshop on seeing creatively!

At the end of this 4 day workshop, you will have realized just how much there really is to see and shoot, even in your own backyard or kitchen!

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from an internationally known instructor, photographer, best-selling author and star of countless Adorama TV videos. Bryan will help you improve upon your existing knowledge to produce your best work yet, all in an amazing, new location on Madeline Island, in beautiful Lake Superior!

Rest assured that in addition to shooting much of the beautiful nature that abounds on the Island, you will also shoot the streets in Bayfield and Ashland as well as the nearby second hand stores and junk yards along the way. This is also peak wildflower time, including wild Lupines which cover the Island and mainland landscape for as far as the eye can see, and are gone by the time July rolls around!

This workshop follows the same visual teachings of Bryan’s other workshops, offering opportunities to shoot nature, street photography, macro, landscape and farm scenes and of course even the abstract. And as always, he will be placing a special emphasis on color, lens choice, point of view and the final arrangement, composition!

This class includes a sunset boat tour to the famous Apostle Islands Sea Caves!
