Landscapes tell many stories. To capture an intimate portrait of a place, one must look beyond the broad landscape to photograph its details. Students will learn to look at the landscape in new ways and discover their own unique way of photographing the world around them.
On beautiful Madeline Island in Lake Superior, we will explore rocky cliffs, sea caves, old-growth forests and a charming historic town to capture a sense of place. Each day will include field trips and classroom discussions.
Many tips and techniques will be shared, but students should be proficient with their camera and processing software.
