Class Description:

In this class we will explore how the arrangement of value, color and form can create visually complex quilts from the repetition of a simple block. We will delve into color interaction, the importance of value in creating movement, and how the use of shape can tell a story.  Students will work through a variety of exercises to create several small design studies, and will have the option to work any of these into a full size quilt.
