Through direct observation, movement, and sensory engagement, we will tune into the surrounding landscape and all of the details mother nature serves up—shifting light, organic patterns, natural textures, color palettes, and quiet energy—to inspire deeper, richer, more expressive, personal work. With a focus on experimentation, mark-making, and intuitive composition, this workshop encourages you to break free from traditional approaches and develop a more instinctive connection to your materials. Through demonstrations, guided exercises, and time spent both outdoors and, in the studio, you’ll have the opportunity to translate nature’s energy into dynamic, authentic paintings that reflect your unique artistic vision.
