Liz Murphy is a multidisciplinary artist with over four decades of creative experience. Originally from London, she studied graphic design and built a successful career in branding and packaging before relocating to San Francisco in 2000, where she launched a line of children’s products. In 2005, she moved to New Jersey, expanding her creative reach by illustrating New York Times bestselling children’s books, designing murals for commercial spaces, and running a sought-after interior design and staging company. A profound personal transformation in 2019 led Liz to fully embrace abstract painting, channeling emotion, and experience into expressive, dynamic works. Now based in East Orange, NJ, her paintings are found in homes and offices worldwide, including President Bill Clinton’s Harlem office. She sees her art as souvenirs of a personal journey, capturing the depth of her lived experiences. With a passion for creative exploration, Liz now shares her knowledge through workshops and mentoring, helping others harness the power of art for growth, healing, and self-expression.
