Hope Edelman
Hope Edelman has written seven nonfiction books, including the bestsellers Motherless Daughters, Motherless Mothers, and the memoir The Possibility of Everything. Her articles and essays have appeared in publications as varied as The New York Times, the Chicago Tribune, Real Simple, Writer’s Digest, The Iowa Review, Brevity, and Parade.
Hope has taught in MFA programs at Antioch University-LA, the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, The University of Iowa, and Ohio State University, as well as at various workshops and writing festivals in Italy, Guatemala and Hawaii and at the Hedgebrook women’s writing retreat on Whidbey Island, Washington. She teaches at the Iowa Summer Writing Festival every summer. The rest of the year she can be found in Los Angeles with her husband and two daughters.
