This 10 day class is intended for those who LOVE machine-piecing, who are motivated to learn, and who are comfortable being challenged while “growing” in experience.

Design Exercises will move from simpler (easier) to more complex exercises that will spark innovative connections encouraging students to explore composition in new ways.

LINE (linear work) will be explored more in-depth along with SHAPES and CONFIGURATIONS. VALUE, COLOR and the INHERENT QUALITIES of solid colors….

BRIGHT, GLOWING, RELATIVE & FLAT….will be an integral part of this class.

Students must come prepared in terms of solid colored fabrics that fall into the these categories no matter the value:

BRIGHTS
GLOWINGS
RELATIVES
FLATS
